Patriots quarterback Tom Brady’s response to questions about whether he’ll play against the Jets this Sunday was that “we’ll see” how things play out after he missed two days of practice while dealing with a knee injury.
The Patriots sent the same message on their final injury report of the week. Brady has been listed as questionable to play in Week 12 after getting in a limited practice on Friday.
Tight end Rob Gronkowski was also a limited participant on Friday to wrap up a week of practices after missing last Sunday’s game with a chest injury. There was a report Thursday that Gronkowski will miss this week’s game as well, but the Patriots have listed him as questionable along with Brady.
Wide receiver Chris Hogan, who also missed the victory over the 49ers, got the same tag along with wide receiver Julian Edelman and tight end Martellus Bennett. Should all four of them miss the game, Brady or Jimmy Garroppolo would be short on targets but history says some of that group will be deemed ready to go on Sunday.
Special teams ace Matthew Slater is the only Patriot ruled out at this point.
